Sunswept 301

Loved the location! View from balcony was spectacular! Wished there would have been a restroom in the pool area or close by! Hated the TV & internet was very slow! None of the 3 tvs were working! Manager had to come & work on all & yet they would still go out! Large step up to toilet & long deep step down into tub/shower! Definitely not for anyone handicapped!

We had a great time with family here! The beach toys in the closet were a plus!
There were a few issues but management was very responsive when notified.
Nice but not posh... couch could use a cleaning but was comfortable. If you don't like firm beds, bring your memory foam topper ;-)

Easy check in, clean condo. Very spacious for family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were the perfect size and we loved that each room had their own bathrooms. Washer-drier was a life saver. Everything was convenient. Lots of space. Wish I never had to leave. I will definitely stay here again! The whole property was very clean and well managed.

My family enjoyed the location, grounds and the beach on our vacation however we were disappointed in the cleaning of our rooms. I noticed that there was dust covering the fan blades & the doors on the furnace door was also covered in dust. These things could be dusted quickly which would give visitors peace of mind seeing that the cleaning staff does a good job. Some visitors may not notice but those that do remember.

Location is perfect! Condo needs love and attention and then you could get top dollar! General maintenance would be a great start. Overall cleanliness was lacking a bit as well, but I think that if the maintenance issues were resolved, it wouldn't "feel" so dirty. I would deem this place a "work in progress". At this time I would not recommend to a friend - the building, yes, this condo, no.

Very nice & comfortable

We have reserved this condo for many years and enjoyed our visits. There are a few things that need fixing in this condo. Two out of the three lightbulbs in the queen bedroom bathroom were burnt out and the towel bar by that sink is coming out. The toilet handle needs to be jiggled to get it to stop running and the shower control/plumbing is coming out of the wall. The ice cube maker didn’t work, and the chair spring came out of the frame on one of the chairs. We need to manually prop up windows and the master bathroom handle sticks. We didn’t bring any of the easy fixes to the attention Property management. But it seems to be that is some thing that could have been taken care of before we came. I wear socks when I walk around the condo, to keep my feet and sheets clean. We have reserved this condo many years, but will not reserve it again, because would like a walk in shower for my dad. All the bathrooms have tub showers, which are hard to access for older people. The condos are in need of renovation and update. I know with that they would probably cost more, but would be well worth it for the older return clients. I would gladly go back, as the condos are very affordable, and the view is wonderful.

Condo needs updating,small Tvs in bedrooms, Roaches yuck

We are not particularly picky people so we tolerated staying in this condo. The location was great! Right across the road from Walmart and other shops and directly on the beach with a nice pool. The needing to update really does not bother me. Yes, it could stand to be updated quite a bit but really not a big deal to us. However it was not clean. The pictures show a nice white clean tile, however we had to wear shoes to whole time we walked around inside or the bottom of our feet turned black. I am not sure the place has ever been mopped. Also, the kitchen seemed clean enough however when I was up late on our last night there, multiple small roaches crawled across the counter. If I would have seen those the first night that would have been a game changer and we would have moved. I will end on a positive and say that the balcony was awesome and we really enjoyed sitting out there the majority of the time.

The beds where like sleeping on the ground they are so hard. The drier did not work after washing clothes. Every time someone on the floor above us walked it sounded like they would fall through the ceiling. The pictures online make it look a lot nicer than it is. Internet is horrible and really small tv's so its not enjoyable for children when in the room at night. Overhaul it was the worst experience I've ever had staying at the beach would not recommend and I won't be returning to the place.

My family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amenities the resort offered. The beach, pool and the location was perfect. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of our room and addressed it to the staff. It is the perfect family vacation spot.

Unit desperately needs to be updated. Furniture is VERY old and dirty.
However, unit itself was clean. Very close to the beach. Easy walk to the beach.
A security guard was on duty at night. No TV in one bedroom after I was told all bedrooms had tv. Other TVs were too small. Sliding door to balcony would not lock. Lock was broken.

Not very happy about the rental.Dirty dishes,had to wash everything we used.very noisy hvac the bedroom on the left.if you want the trash removed helpful to leave more than one trash bag.the remote controls were filthy,and the remote in the master bedroom had corroded batteries in it,Don’t think I would stay there again if I make it back to Orange beach.

This unit was an embarrassment to have my family stay in and other come in to visit. The photos are no representation of the condition of this unit. The unit was dirty, poorly maintained and overall condition of the property was about the same.
Broken window, holes in walls, lights and fans ranging from broken to needing repair. Painting hasn’t been done for years. The carpet pictured in living room was discarded to patio in a roll wet and mildewed. Under sink bathroom cabinet in master rotted out. Linen closets shelves in chipped and in poor condition.

The owners should be ashamed to present this property in the condition. Either clean it up or put an accurate description.

Condo is in need of a serious upgrade. Furniture is old and dirty as was the bathroom and beds. Patio door lock was broke.

This condo has so much potential. The view from balcony is outstanding. The walk to beach is so close. The condo itself is disappointing. The twin bed was broke so my daughter slept crooked all week. The comforters had clearly not been washed with visible dirt and “matter” on them. The ceiling had cracks and holes. Several outlets didn’t work including bathroom outlets. Light bulbs in several rooms needed replaced. Overall a musty smell from entire condo. I enjoyed my stay at the beach but will never stay in 301 again until renovations and general maintenance is completed.

Great location to everything. Nice getaway, they did practice strict social distancing and everything was extremely clean. The front office lady had a terrible attitude initially, but ended the visit pleasant. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you needed. However, the living room furniture is extremely dated and uncomfortable to sit on. The master bedroom mattress needs replaced, it is swaying and you roll together trying to sleep, but the other 2 bedrooms are fine. The balcony has a great view of the ocean and pool. The pool is really nice, lots of chairs and loungers for you but only 4 tables and 2 of them were broken, but we made it work. We will definitely stay here again, just hope the mattress issue gets corrected.

Condo is spacious but needs some upgrading, larger tv's, better mattresses etc. Cleaning company was running late and condo was not ready when we got there and then not thoroughly cleaned.

I love Sunswept it is my fifth visit. Room 301 was not as nice as my other rooms in the past. It had mold in the showers and the furniture felt dirty and musky smelling. The kitchen was not supplied like other rooms before. One positive the master bed was cozy. I love Sherry in the office she is welcoming and remembers everyone like you are family.

We could not stay in the condo we booked because something on the balcony was messed up so we got moved. The condo we stayed in was ok but the furniture was old, the closets and other places need to be updated. The master bedroom mattress needs replacing. It was great to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The manager needs yo make sure customers need to flip the light switch in order to have the electric plugs work in the unit.

It’s my first time staying there when I arrived at the place the floor was dirty, the bed sheet was not wash we had to wash them on all rooms and the place had roaches I won’t stay in that place again

Great stay in an excellent location. Many restaurants and grocery store nearby. Condo was clean, although slightly dated. Loved the large oceanfront balcony!

Dishes in cabinets and utensils in drawers were dirty and had to be washed. Tv’s were small and outdated. TV in living room quit working on 2nd day. Floors were so dirty it turned our feet black. Long black hair found in master bathtub. Tub and commode were elevated so much my head touched the ceiling. Condo needs lots of work before I would rent it again!

Brought my children and their families and while there was plenty of room, I could have paid what I did for more updated and nicer condo to spend time in. The balcony was coming apart, light switches had to be turned on for plugs to work (leaving a closet light on while sleeping), the jets in the bath tub didn’t work for my granddaughter to take a bath. Our entire stay, there was only one elevator working, and at one point, neither elevator worked. My daughter has Multiple Sclerosis do climbing stairs is not easy for her. In combination with all the above, the pool was closed one day for maintenance. We stayed comfortably and had a nice trip together but next time, I’ll find somewhere different.

This rental is okay. It needs updating really badly but it is clean. They need bigger TVs and they need a TV in each bedroom. It is in a wonderful location. You get plenty of towels but they are very low quality which was fine for us bc we had teenage boys but if you had adults in each bedroom they may not like it. We appreciated being able to rent for a partial week which is difficult to do after memorial day so that was nice. There are nicer and more updated units to rent in orange beach but they are much more pricey...but for the price, it is fine!

Location excellent. Very many good restaurants. Several within walking distance. Shopping convenient. Met many friendly people at weekly lunch.
