Location! Location!

We always enjoy our stays at Sunswept! The staff is very professional, friendly & helpful. The location is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants & entertainment and the beach is beautiful! We’ve stayed in several of the various Sunswept 1, 2 & 3 bedroom condo units over many years.

The location was great and the the view was amazing. The downside was I saw a cockroach and the dishwasher was hard to get started and the dryer wouldn’t dry completely in one cycle and would would have to wait to restart because it would start again for about 15 or so mins

The ac did not work properly the entire time we were there, it was extremely hot. The dryer did not work, hardly any of the outlets worked to charge any of our devices.

This unit'sdecor was a little dated but perfectly comfortable. The property was very conveniently located and the pool and beach were excellent. The beachfront at this location was not overpopulated since this is one of the smaller condominiums.

A nice cozy rental right on the beach with great views. The pool was large and clean and everything was close by. It may not be as updated as some of the condos around it, but everything was clean and functional (except a few outlets). Overall a good place for the price.

Very enjoyable experience. Rooms were clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Easily accessible and close to all of the things we wanted to do. The pool and beach area was clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend staying here, and we plan on returning again in the future.

Had a great time, close to the beach and pool! Other thank historic hail storm while we were there it couldn’t have been better! Thanks for everything!

The condo was good, but quite dated. Overall experience was good. Everyone was very friendly at the property.

It is a beautiful area, on the gulf condo complex.
The unit itself needs updating. The clothes dryer wasn’t functioning properly. The dishwasher was temperamental when trying to start it. The bathtubs did not drain properly, we were always standing in 3 inches of water. The sheets and towels were very thin.
The balcony view is awesome, with views of Dauphins passing by.
The state park was close by and has 10 miles of paved trails for walking and biking. Eagles were seen nesting along the trails.

we were moved to this complex due to our chosen complex being closed as a result of the recent hurricane. We were very unhappy with this property, the overall complex was very dated and appears run down. The particular until was just as bad. There are mirrors on multiple walls, including the master bedroom, dining room chandelier has the power cord running across the ceiling, down the wall and plugged into an outlet. We were provided only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms and 4 people.
Pool and proximity to beach were great, however not enough to overcome the issues with the complex and unit. I wish I could say our issues were temporary and hurricane related, however they were not related to the hurricane at all. Unless you're simply looking for just a roof over your head, near the beach, I would never recommend this property or unit

Very clean and spacious for us and 3 kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. Decor was good and beds were comfortable. Pool was nice and access to the beach was easy!

I was very disappointed with the unit. Extremely dated, more than half of the electrical outlets didn't work. Dyer didn't dry. A very basic supply of essentials. Not one of the lamps worked because no outlets to plug into, must be for decoration and not use. We had to put beach towels on the furniture to even sit on it. On a good note, the beach was fantastic and the view was heavenly. The admin (Rachel) was great to work with, however, we will NOT be staying in this unit again.

Even though social distancing was in place we had a great time. Pool regulations were very reasonable and the overall sanitation was above expectations. I have been vacationing here since I was a kid. I taught my younger sister to swim in that very pool and now my daughter...we will be back again. Thank You!!

Outdated furniture and drapes/bedspreads. Washer/dryer did not work well and was very loud.

Unit 506 needs a little updating and cosmetic improvements. Otherwise, the cleanliness and upkeep was top notch - consideration given to what they had to work with. Love the location - 5th floor is ideal and the location of the building could not be any more convenient to shopping areas and of course the beach!! We have stayed at SunSwept the last 2 years and would definitely rent a unit there again - would just like this one to be a little updated.

Easy beach assess, helpful office staff, clean comfortable condo

We enjoyed our stay with the exception of the daily building maintenance. While I know maintenance is a necessity, it would have been nice to know in advance that we would experience jack hammering beginning each morning.

Sunswept is located perfectly in the middle of everything. Across the street is a nice Walmart, donuts, a Mexican restaurant, fuel, etc. But if you want something else it’s only a short drive in either direction. The pool was clean and large. The condo we stayed in (506) was nice. The kitchen was perfect for our needs, the beds were comfortable. It was a clean condo and thankfully it did not have a weird smell! (That’s my biggest pet peeve). 506 is located a few steps off the elevator, so returning back after an exhausting day is easier. The view of the pool and gulf was my favorite part. I spend many nights and mornings just sitting on the patio and watching the waves and listening. It was an excellent stay. I will definitely book 506 again.

We selected property because t was literally RIGHT ON THE BEACH and was cheaper than others with similar locations. You get what you pay for. The dryer ran for hours and had to be manually turned off. Then it quit heating, but then the next day it worked well again. There was also no hair dryer or pizza pan that we could find (but there was a pizza cutter). Nothing major, but I assumed those items would be there. The pool was nice and well maintained. The issues we had were minor and we stay again for the great location and cheaper rate.

Check in was fast and easy. Very nice and helpful staff. Property was clean. Condo condition need repairs in areas.

Enjoyed spring break in OB, 2019. Did not spend a lot of time in the condo. We visited friends frequently. Some things were broken.

Great ocean view. Condo. excellent! I liked the mirrors from the 80’s ☺️
Only need to get a new 5x8 rug for living room. Current one is stained from previous renters. Plenty of space. Very clean.

We were pleased with the condo and had a great vacation. Will stay again!

We moved from 302 on Sunswept to 502. The a/c was extremely loud in 302. There was mold and mildew in the a/c closet. It appeared that the vents and filters were dirty. The overall cleanliness wasn’t as we expected. The unit is old and needs to be remodeled. We wouldn’t stay there again. We felt like it was a hazard to our health.

We love the set up here...front ocean view(we like the 5th floor view of the ocean! And you can still call down to you family at the pool!) Great pool and plenty of chairs and you can view the ocean from pool area. Very short walk to beach!!! Just perfect size condo area...not too big not too small! We have been coming to this area for many years...stayed at more expensive places and bigger properties, but this place is our favorite!!!❤️

It was a nice stay and convenient to the beach and restaurants but the air wasn't working the first 2 nights we were there and it was 90+ degrees. It clearly stated that there would be no refunds or discounts for mechanical failure which makes you think that this happens frequently.

Our stay at this condo was mediocre. The condo itself was very bland. It only has an outdoor pool. Our room was nice enough but the beds were very hard. The condo seemed to be 10+ years out dated. The bathrooms need to be updated (especially the showers) along with the bedding in both rooms. The dryer would not get our towels dry. We had to let them dry for over 5+ hours. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living area was nice.

We have stayed in this condo several times. This year we could not get the sliding door to lock (our granddaughters were with us), several lights were out, the kitchen had very little silverware and the pots/pans were worn and had food left on them. The refrigerator did not work properly. We were constantly having to wipe it out where water was collecting on our food and filling the crisper drawers. Beds have the exact same comforters on them as they did the first time we stayed there. Very disappointed and will not stay in this condo again.

Location was perfect
Unit needs some TLC
1. mold and mildew on ceiling perimeters in living room , bedrooms, and baths
2. Rust on cold air returns, refrigerator, and sliding door
3. Need walk off mats at entry door and sliding door for wiping feet

Enjoyed the stay, rained the entire time we were there but still relaxed and rested

Absolutely fantastic. Condo was clean, cool, beautiful view, well equipped kitchen, and most important...good beds.
I hope we can come again soon.

The room was clean with a nice kitchen. The condo could use a little more updating in the bathrooms but overall it was nice. The fold out bed is not very comfortable but most places we have stayed in have the same problem. Loved the location of the condo and everyone we dealt with was nice. Was hard to get away from the smokers on other floors below us while on the patio.

First time to stay at Sunswept. The Condo was nice, in a great location. We had a nice relaxing weekend. thank you!

Fantastic weather in well furnished condo. It was convenient to grocery stores. We went to the Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores and the shuttle bus picked us up right in front of the condo. It was perfect!
