Sunswept 605

Having stayed at Sunswept before, we again had our expectations met.

This one bedroom was awesome. Great view,roomy. Definitely would stay here again!

Very relaxing. Perfect location and view. Could use some care on the sliding glass door but not an big issue. We will be back.

We have enjoyed Sunswept for several years now, the check in is hassle free, and we have had many happy days at the beach. Some of the rooms we have stayed in could use a good deep clean including 605 but other wise it has always been a positive stay.

This was our second year in a row staying and the experience will have us coming back. 605 was as described and had everything we needed for the week stay. People may critique the condo, but I don't base my stay on what it has or doesn't have(it is nicer than our condo). We are at the beach to be at the beach. The condo was cozy with all the amenities a couple needs for a week away. I would recommend a 2 or three bedroom for more than 2 adults. The location of sunswept, the pool and ocean access are perfect. Staff were friendly and courteous. Having the guy from Ike's right there on the beach is a huge selling point for us. Just get up and walk out to beach to your chairs. We will and have recommended 605 and sunswept to all of our friends looking to get away for a week.

Older unit, clean, and needs new bed. Liked it was1.5 baths. Liked that the pool entrance was coded. Location on beach great. Beach service affordable and convenient.

The unit was very nice and clean. The only issue was the sliding door to the balcony. At one time we thought we were stuck because the door wouldn't slide open. It was very hard to open or close. Other than the door I would recommend this unit.

It was a good value for the money

This was the cheapest rental I could find on the beach. It definitely needs some updating. A coat of paint would go a long way with this unit. It could be such a cute unit with a little TLC. Still, it’s on the beach and a perfect location to all the things. It has a good pool and good balcony (not huge but good enough). The size of this condo is good for a small family or a few friends staying together. Owners, give me some free days at the beach and I will paint the walls for you.

The condo was severely outdated and not upkept. After unpacking we realized that our feet were filthy from the floors. The shower head came off in our hand, sliding door leaked, and I went an bought a mop to keep the floor dry and cleaner, broken chair, handles, outlets that didn't work, dryer vent falling off into dryer, paint is horrible, freezer rusty, and these were just some of the issues. I would not for what we paid ever stay here again. So disappointed that this was so horrible. It needs a full gut and clean.

Mgt was pleasant and efficient and all went as expected. They did warn us of some noise due to rehab of bldg but that was minimal. Rehab helped the look and should be done in that unit as well. Location, pool, balcony, nearby attractions were all very good and mgt helped out in every way they could. Good time for good price.

Location was perfect, views were amazing, paint in the room was a little dated and could see the wear and tear. The room was overall clean but just being a little picky could’ve been better above the shower and baseboards.

Sunswept 605 is the worst condo I've ever rented. The ceiling fan was hanging from the ceiling, the pullout couch was broken (apparently since at least 2019), the front door is cracked where someone clearly forced entry and they didn't repair, the furniture is cheap, the bed and bedding is cheap and uncomfortable. The floors weren't clean, as a used q-tip was on the bedroom floor. It is old and while they've replaced the dishwasher and repaired some plumbing that was broken as stated in prior reviews that I've now read, it is still not somewhere to spend your vacation. It is not worth the money.
I've never taken the time to give a bad review before this.

The people at Sunswept are very friendly and helpful. The condo complex is fairly nice and looked well maintained. We did see a security guard patrolling the complex. Beach and pool very nice.
The condo itself was perfect for 2 people, however the furniture and decor was absolutely horrible. It looked like the furniture was picked up off the side of the road a just haphazardly sat in place. The headboard in the bedroom was covering half of a picture that was placed haphazardly above the headboard. Condo didn’t any rugs inside to wipe off your feet. We had to purchase a couple.
I would recommend staying here, just not unit 605.

My husband and I have been staying at Sun Swept off and on 23yrs. That should speak volumes in itself!!!

After an initial reservation snafu, the ladies fixed me up with a one bedroom condo for three nights, which was fine. The condo could use a little updating, painting etc.

The sofa bed was broken and a blow-up mattress was provided as an alternative. Shoes had to be worn at all times because the floor was dirty. The check-in staff, the location, and the view were nice. Overall, the condo needed some refreshing and cleaning.

I have been staying at Sunswept for 30+ years and this was the worst unit by far. I love Sunswept because it’s right on the beach but I will never rent this unit again. The floors were nasty and turned your feet black. There were no rugs in the condo at all so we had to use our towels to wipe sand off our feet. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The couch was broken. I didn’t even attempt to use the dishwasher since there had been complaints of it not working since 2019. Overall just a bad unit in need of updates and a good cleaning.

The location of this condo was perfect! Our balcony overlooked the pool and the beach. The pool and beach were clean and not crowded (mid-May). We enjoyed The Gulf and Cactus Cantina for dinner. The condo was clean but could use some updating. The dishwasher was not working correctly but we were able to fix it temporarily.

The dishwasher wasn’t working but we didn’t use the kitchen as much as expected. It is a small place but clean and convenient location. The pullout couch and king size bed could both use new mattresses but overall we would rent again. The office staff were exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful.

Floors were dirty bed sheets felt like sand in them. Very noisy area bed did not sleep well could not walk on floor with no shoes feet would get black. Only thing this condo had going for it was location. Very disappointed and not satisfied

The unit look just like the pic, more straighten up than clean. Bedroom to small for a king, and parking lot hard to enter and exit dishwasher didn't work. The unit could use an update, But overall it is not a bad place to stay. Had a great time beach was beautiful, not sorry I stayed there.

We have been staying at Sunswept for around 15 years. We love it here. Great location, beautiful beach , the pool is very large. We’ve always had great customer service, they are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful vacation!! Can’t wait to come back next year

The condo was very outdated. Kitchen Faucet was broken and toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle. Don’t know how service would have been since I didn’t call for these two things Found out the last night that dishwasher was not working. Called the emergency number since running dishwasher and Putting the dishes back to their proper place was required (never had to do that before)and was leaving early the next day. The voicemail went right to the main daytime message. So glad there wasn’t an emergency. Very uncomfortable bed, sheets didn’t fit right, disgustingly dirty ceiling fan and hall vents were encased in thick dust. The beach was beautiful. But the chair service for this condo, which charges $35 a day did not check in to move umbrellas during the day. Came once in morning and once late afternoon. I have never written a bad review before, I am not a hard to please person. But would never stay in this unit again.

the condo was nice, clean, and quiet. the pool was large and well maintained. easy access to beautiful beach. my wife and I had a very good time and will defiantly return.

I have been staying at Sunswept since I was a kid and love it! Unit 605 is super clean and nice and would definitely stay there again... The decor is a little out datted, and not real beachy... but we don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway! Over all its a great place to stay! Can't wait to come back!

The property was comfortable with plenty of room and the views were beyond compare. The property itself was well kept and clean. The kitchen pots and pans, accessories were lacking and need to be reassessed. I would stay there again but bring some of my own kitchen tools next time. They also need to provide a mop as I had to use a bath towels to clean kitchen floor.

The only thing we didn't like about our stay had absolutely nothing to do with the room but the way the city has rerouted the traffic light in front of the condo. Just to criss the street to go to the grocery or to the dollar store turns into a 2 mile journey by car. But we lived. Overall it is a great place to stay!!!!

The furnishing, bed spreads, curtains, need some updating. the pillows on the bed are awful, must be the least expensive you can buy at Wal Mart

My vacation there was absolutely wonderful the staff was very nice, the room was very clean and I had everything I needed to use there. I will definitely came back again next year to sunswept condos and experience it all over again.

I first called my friend Rick Hilley to see if I could come to the beach the following week. I told him we wanted to be on the beach where we could see it. I said we could take a one-bedroom or two-bedroom and he got back to me and gave me Sherri's number. I called Sherry, all arrangements were made, and we were there the following week. Our stay was pleasant and we would do it again.

good...Sunswept is in a great location and less expensive than most places on the beach...I have been staying here since 2003.

It was good to get away form work and relax on the beach. My wife and I enjoyed our morning coffee while sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenery.

We had a really great vacation. Your accomdations were perfect for what we needed. It's close proximity to the beach was great. It truly was a "home away from home".

Everything was perfect with our condo. The balcony had a gorgeous view the pool was awesome our room was clean and the bed was comfy. Would highly recommend this condo.
