Sunswept 706

The condo fulfilled all our needs. It was a perfect Gulf beach getaway. I do recommend that you put instructions on how to turn the shower on. I knew how only because I had seen this setup before. I had to show the others in our party.

This was a nice little spot. A little basic but it was comfortable and worked for our needs. Coastal Properties communicated very well and gave us a heads up on the check in details. Room stayed cool and we seemed to have what we needed in the cabinets and drawers. The elevators had several issues during our stay. One incident where someone even got stuck in it. Beach was a bit crowded. Overall, We enjoyed our stay at 706 Sun Swept and would stay again.

Sunswept never disappoints! Great view of the beach. Property is well maintained and management company very friendly. Small things that could be improved; toaster in unit burned toast every time and electric receptacle on balcony didn't work.

Condo was just as described on the website. Located near many restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Beds were comfortable and condo was clean when arrived. Would definitely stay at this condo again in the future.

we loved our stay at Sunswept, the room was clean and felt like our home away from home. The master bathroom was a little small but we made it work

I Loved the location, however I did NOT love that they do not have restrooms at the pool/beach area. I think the property rates should be much less given that is an inconvenience. The condo we stayed in was nice, but I wish they would invest in some larger TV's in the bedroom and invest in some higher quality bath towels. I also think a hair dryer should be kept in the bathrooms as everywhere I have every stayed usually supplies one. The view from balcony was great! I also like you have privacy from the balcony from your neighbors. The other plus was parking was never an issue. We left and came back a million times and never had trouble finding a parking spot.

1st week of May is a great time to be here. Didn't have to wait hardly any time for dining or attractions. Mid to upper 70's to low 80's and sunshine! Pool was kept very clean as was the beach. I would recommend this property to anyone.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Sunswept Condos and once again, we really enjoyed it. This was the first time in #706 and all was great. We did miss having a DVD player and the dishwasher needs repair, but these were minor inconveniences. We really enjoyed the balcony and the great view. Also, love the great location of Sunswept -- close to some great Orange Beach shopping!

The property has aged, but the staff was great. They recently installed new floors. They need to assure the cleaning staff mop. If you didn't wear shoes in the room, your feet turned black.

The location was awesome however the property itself needs some tender love and care. All appliances are outdated and floor was dirty ( we wiped off the floor with a cleaning wipes when we arrived and it was all black on the wipes), or Maybe not just the floor because My husband and daughter would be sneezing every time we get back to our unit. We will surely visit back Orange beach in the near future but I would consider paying more to stay in a nicer and cleaner property.

Easy to get to know. Great location and easy walk to beach. Wonderful pool.

Sunswept is located in the heart of Orange Beach. You cannot beat the Location and Property is very well maintained. Management is on location and very helpful.

Half the light bulbs were out, had to change myself. Outlet cover missing had to buy and replace myself. Broken/missing handle on refrigerator door. Floor was dirty/sandy. There was sand in all the beds when we first arrived, had to was ourselves before we could use. No lock on balcony door (we have small children).
We stayed with group in a separate unit who had multiple issues as well. Overall
for the amount of money paid we to stay at this location we, in both units) we’re dissatisfied and will not stay here again in the future.

The unit we rented was water damaged from the unit above, but the management at Coastal Properties found us another unit at the last minute. They were very helpful to work with us and we had a wonderful stay.

Very easy access and clear after hours check in instructions. Touch pad entry and no keys necessary is super nice for no worries on losing keys. Plenty of luggage carts, easy elevator access from parking lot (no big parking garage and lobby etc. nice and simple). Cozy two bedroom, decent furnishings, comfortable, lovely patio over the pool and ocean, and plenty of space for a family of four. Very comfortable. This is not a stuffy, fancy, resort type place. If you want fully updated and perfect, go elsewhere. This is a great family condo with super easy access to beach, pool, and grocery store right across the street. The only two complaints I would have: dryer takes three full cycles to dry clothes (but it was still nice to have laundry in the unit), and the entry to and from complex requires u-turn which is sometimes a challenge at busy hours (generally not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience). Location of complex is great with each access to shopping and activities. We would stay here again.

Nice condo to stay in for long weekend. Recently updated! Perfect setup and not a huge high rise. There is a public access right next to this condo, for crowded Memorial Day weekend ! I would stay here again, perfect location

We’ve stayed at the Sunswept many times over the years. Great views from the balcony. Looking forward to next year.

We are delighted to find a new chair in our unit. Over the years we have stayed at SunSwept we notice new improvements each year. They are punctual with needed repairs.

the sunswept was nice. everything worked and sherry was very helpful. the room had some age on it and needed some TLC.

Location was excellent. The access to the beach & restaurants was great.
The outside appearance could use some updating (dated or aged).
The room we were in needed a deeper clean & quite a bit of maintenance.
The fridge was missing a handle, the tub faucet dripped continuously, the kick plate on the vanity was falling off, the walls had quite a bit of scuff marks.
I would look at other options before staying here again

Condo was nice and we had a great view of the beach. Only complaints would be the elevators had problems. They need to have the Condo Owners repair broken items ( cabinets, utensils )Oh and the master bed is hard as a rock. Pool area was clean , but a bathroom down by the pool would be a great add on.

Great experience by the beach.

You can tell the room has been let run down. Dishes had to be washed before we used them because they were not clean and was put away like that. Dryer didn’t work properly and took 4-5 times to run to get clothes dry. Elevator was out of order and the other working elevator made my wife so nervous she kept walking up & down 7 flights of stairs.
Refrigerator handle was broke off and the top of the handle has a sharp place that cut my wife between her fingers when she opened it so be careful. TV’s are very small and the furniture is very old. Beds were like sleeping on a rock and extremely uncomfortable. If you don’t care where you stay and what your condo looks like for a the price and just want beach front then this is the place for you. We however, will not be staying in this condo again. We were very disappointed overall. I do have to say that the office manager was very friendly.

This condo was fine for a few days but definitely needs some improvement. One of the elevators at the complex was broken and the other shook horribly. Our condo needed a deep cleaning. I understand not providing too many things to your guests, but we didn't even have salt and pepper (and yes, I saw the email stating what to bring). I just think for the price, it could have been a much better stay.

It's always good to be back. The office staff and maintenance support are excellent.

Super easy check-in, with the staff very attentive and friendly. My room was well appointed and very clean. Will rebook soon!

Very nice condo for our family of 4. Great location and easy access to beach. Would stay here again.

As we drove up to the condominiums we noticed that it was small but quaint. The lady at the office was very nice as well as the beach chair assistant. The room was small but spacious for 6 people. We arrived to the fridge door handle broken, the balcony door handle was broken as well. We called the office and the balcony handle was fixed right away. As the days continue, the couple who stayed on the sofa bed found "silver fish" on the bed and on the sheets. The "silver fish" were also found on the table. We came to realize the room was not very clean for something like this to happen. The furniture was outdated. The living room and dining room furniture were scary to sit on because we thought something may break. The room got the job done for the short vacation but I would not stay in this specific room again unless it was updated.

We have stayed in 706 for several years. Enjoyed the new cable company and new TV's. Some upgrades this years, but this unit really needs new living room furniture and window coverings. Bedrooms are fine, bathrooms are fine. Washer and Dryer worked better this year than ever before. Not sure why. Kitchen appliances are excellent, but cooking utensils are poor quality. Cookware and dishes are fine, as is tableware and glasses. Big problem with the elevators are in January. Some residents had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs - quite difficult for some seniors. One lady had anxiety after being stuck in the elevator for some time.

Love staying at Sunswept. So convenient for shopping, restaurants, groceries. Love the view on the beachside, and easy access to the pool and ocean. So comfortable and relaxing. Staff is always helpful and pleasant.

we rented 2 rooms and had several relatives come and stay for a family reunion. we had a wonderful time. i did not like the fact that you were limited to how many cars you could park on there lots.

Been coming to Gulf dhores/Orange Beach for almost 50 summers. SUNSWEPT Has Been Our choice for The Past 10 years. It's convienent to everything, pool is maintained beautifully. Condos are great. We will be back next year.
