Beautifully decorated condo, functionality not the best. No wifi, old rusted leaking refrigerator and nowhere to store our clothes

We had a great time and the unit was perfect for our family of 4! Everything was like it was listed and everyone was super nice. Would stay here again!

We had an awesome time in Orange Beach. This condo is located directly in front of the public Beach parking. The view from this particular condo was the best in the building as it extends out further and right over the swimming pool. The only things that need to be updated is the refrigerator as it leaks water and freezes into the refrigerator (even when set at appropriate temp), the bed downstairs was definitely not a queen and very hard. The front door did not seal well, when the wind picked up it had very high pitched howls. The things described would not keep me from renting again.

The stay was overall a good experience. We have stayed in many VRBO’s throughout the country, and I will say this one was the biggest let down. They provide ZERO “luxury items”. We were given no extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc. For a family of four and a week stay, it was disappointing to have to go buy these items after the cost of renting the establishment. They provide a coffee pot but zero coffee filters. These little items go a long way and are appreciated more than you know. Also, fire alarm kept going off and this became quite a frustrating event early in the morning...on vacation.

This was our first time to rent a vacation condo/house it was amazing. Very clean, nice people, great location

My 3 granddaughters (ages 4,5,6) and I stayed 5 nights. The condo was clean and cozy. The main part of the house was not as roomy as I would have liked. And the winding stairs can be a little stressful if you have little ones. The girls wanted to go up and down the stairs. They are metal and steep so I was worried they would take a tumble. Other then that it was a great little place.

The place was perfect for our family! Love the decor and location.
Also customer service was amazing! I can’t wait to book our next trip!

Weather wasn’t the best. Very noisy sitting on balcony as 4 lane road ran in front of it. Great view of the Gulf of Mexico. Nice kitchen. Clean.

Great unit! Directly across from the beach with easy access. The unit was clean and a perfect fit for our family of four. The rental company was responsive and easy to work with!

Our initial stay was in 601 and it's definitely an average condo unit with a number of "older" items that are in need of an update. After 3 nights of no issues we experienced a pipe bursting behind the fridge and leaking water into the front bedroom. The water was shut off, and a plumber was called to fix it later that night. We had to deal with fans running in our room to dry everything and then were able to move to room 208 the next night. After being told it would be ready at 5pm, we waited outside 208 for 30+ minutes for the cleaner to finish. Two nights ruined due to the issue. We got a 2 night refund and a free night to extend our stay but this is 2 years in a row that water issues forced us to move. We will not be giving SunSwept a third chance to complete the strikeout. If/when we return to Orange Beach, it will be with another condo rental for sure. I appreciate the effort that Sherry made to help but with it being twice in a row, more should have been done. A full refund would be in order here, in my opinion, to keep a customer happy and increasing the likelihood of a future return stay.

Had a wonderful stay. I was pleased with how well equipped the unit was for cooking. The beds were comfy and had a wonderful view of the beach.

Our stay in 601 was great. Everything was just as pictures. The only thing the table on the balcony was broken. We had a very relaxed stay and the pool and beach was perfect. We already booked for next year.

Was fantastic. Room was a bit dated but very clean and plenty of room. Bathrooms had been remodeled beautifully. This unit was on corner so balcony was big with great views! I loved this building because it was not a skyscraper condo, I think only 8 floors? Therefore not a huge number of people trying to get on and off elevators. Not to mention the beach area for this building was not crazy packed because of the smaller size. Up and down the beach you could see how insanely packed those HUGE condo beaches were, Walmart right across the street not to mention restaurants and shops. Traffic was no problem in the area also. It was week of 4 of July and we were kind of regretting our decision but it was wonderful! When we go back this will definitely be where we stay! Also the security guard was always around and he was on it! That was comforting to know that he took his took his job seriously and he did it well. We spoke a couple times and I wish I had got his name. Also the staff were very friendly and always helpful, we were very impressed. See y’all next time!

The condo was very clean. I'm picky when it comes to bathrooms, and these were clean and nice!

The front door would not lock for 3 days and the back door did not have a handle for 3 days. There were large roaches crawling in the kitchen and living room. The dishwasher, sofa and All mattresses needs to be replaced!! The air conditioner roared so loud it would keep you awake.

Great location. Everything we needed was in the condo. Very Clean except for few crumbs on floor. Would have preferred more comfortable chairs on balcony & table was little warped. Overall excellent. Would rent again. A fitness center should be added.

Perfect size for our group! It seems a bit dated and needs a few cosmetic changes but nothing interfered with our vacation. The step in the master bath took a little while to get used to. Overall, it was perfect for us and we had no issues. Check in was great and the staff was very pleasant.

You can't beat the location and all units are gulf front. It is unfortunate that the unit that we stayed in this time was a bit run down. It was functional but is in need of some serious repairs and updates. Not one bed in that condo was worth sleeping on which made for a very long week for 6 adults. The bathroom fixtures and vanities were missing parts and the nasty vent piece to the microwave was just laying on top of the refrigerator. Again, everything was functional but we would not rent this particular unit again.

We enjoyed our first vacation in more than a year at this comfortable condo. It was our first trip to Orange Beach. PROS: Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a TV in the living room and each bedroom, good wi-fi, a fine kitchen and dining area, easy access to shopping just across the street (you can even walk to shopping), and a great view. CONS: A little dated, a weird step-up to the toilet and tub in the master bedroom, and we wished for blender in the kitchen. And of course, we had to be there for the hail storm of the century! Mother nature did impressive damage to our cars on our last night there!

We have stayed at other units at this property and come back because it is a fairly good value and convenient to the beach and restaurants. It really is a nice value and maintained nicely. Overall we were very happy with it and would stay here again.

Pros: it’s on the beach and has a passcode protected entrance to the beach, public areas are maintained well, it is across the main road from the Wal-Mart. This unit is decorated/furnished like most others. Two of the three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. View is very nice. It was clean and had most everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Appliances and TVs worked as expected (see below). A/C was nice and cold.

Cons: Like most units of this age it has wear on it and is slightly dated. Lower condo type ceilings. Elevator can be slow at times and stairs will give you a workout. Most of the sink drains were missing their drain stems and one of the bathtubs didn’t drain well. Master bath has a major design boo-boo. Toilet and tub are on a raised platform about 8 inches higher than the floor. Not good if you have arthritic knees or need to pee in the middle of the night. Similar for stepping into the bathtub in master suite. Step over the side only to be placing your foot lower than the platform you are stepping off of. Could be dangerous for elderly or persons with balance issues. No Iron or ironing board. And the fridge is not great. It takes forever to cool items and it must be a known issue because there is a laminated sign on it to NOT turn it colder because just makes the freezer colder. Says that items placed in fridge will take 24 hours to get cold. Instead of making a sign it may be time to replace the fridge with a new one that cools off your drinks a little faster.

We have been to Sun Swept for 8 years in a row and have truly enjoyed it each year. Lord willing, we will be back again next summer!

Reviews from a couple of years ago indicated repairs im the condo were needed. I figured that with 2 years having passed it would've been updated, but that wasn't the case. Cracked floor tiles, rust on stove and dishwasher, part of an interior wall crumbling. We found a large roach the second day, although the manager said it was likely a water bug (it was not). While the unit was spacious and our vacation was great, the unit was not worth the nearly $3000 we spent.

We have taken family vacation several times over the past 15 years at Sunswept and have stayed in several different units. Overall it has always been great but this suite 601 was mediocre. This unit has a great view but needs some remodeling. The balcony doors leaked in rain and the walls need painting , bathroom fan was not working and the floor surface in the kitchen is in need of clean and repair. The television would not work in one bedroom and constantly froze screen and had very few subscribed channels. The outdated thermostat was also hard to keep adjusted at nighttime and ceiling fans/ lights were difficult But overall still a great place to stay, but compared to other units in the building we were not satisfied with our accommodation for the price we paid. I do highly recommend sunswept as a great vacation getaway based on past experiences.

This 3 bed 3 bath property was located as stated with a stunning view of the beach. The condo was neither clean or well-maintained. There were cheerios and pieces of children's toys laying around that clearly should have been swept. Dirt crusted the corners in the bathrooms, grout and caulk was filthy, most furniture was in poor condition, refrigerator handle was duct taped together, mismatched paint was slapped over unfilled holes in walls, many light bulbs were out, and hinges on toilet lids were crusted with old urine. Kitchen appliances and counters were in good condition. The office staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.The pool area was well maintained and access to the beach was convenient.

This is our 5th vacation at Sunswept and the propert and staff are fantastic. However we will definitely not stay in unit 601 again. Furniture was falling apart and general upkeep of the unit itself needs a lot of attention.

Disappointed to have spent $2500 on a condo that was worn out and the bed in the master bedroom had to have been 15 years old.

Needs painting, tile needs to be redone as there are over 25 that are cracked or chipped.

We stayed in Unit 601 at Sunswept Condominiums and found it to be clean, updated and with everything necessary to make our stay pleasant. The staff at Coastal Properties is always great to work with. We have stayed many times in the past and will return in the future. Great location in the center of Orange Beach!
